Wet clay for direct application, topcoat, undercoat and reinforced with chopped hemp.
Red and green. Green having a friable texture, red a plastic texture, both for use in civil engineering works. The clay also comes in ground and powdered form for use in modelling and mortar.

The green clay dries out quicker as it is more free draining.
Red clay can be used to cap walls.
When both types of clay are wet they have similar levels of permeability (which is the rate of which water passes through)
Both types can be used when in contact with water constantly i.e river/canal embankments.
