The social and political context for Ecological Design is the emerging Low Carbon economy. Whilst the consideration of all eco-systems are embedded in Ecological Design as indicated in this Directory, 'Low Carbon is becoming a popular reference that is widely understood to be related to global warning through the production of Carbon Dioxide, one of the green house gases.
