What is Funded:

The Ove Arup Foundation is committed to:

• promoting new thinking in education, and to nurturing engineering of the built environment; promoting and establishing new teaching, to develop the skills needed for tomorrow's world;
• commissioning and publishing research to inform and encourage debate; 
• providing contributions to projects initiated by others, particularly where our support helps to attract other sources.

Criteria:

The Ove Arup Foundation supports projects which are considered to be consistent with the Foundation’s education purposes in the built environment.

The aim of the Foundation is the advancement of education directed towards the promotion, furtherance and dissemination of knowledge of matters associated with the built environment’.
