Building Scotland
Historic Scotland host a two day conference looking at Scotland’s traditional building materials.

This two-day conference celebrates the materials used to construct Scotland’s traditional buildings. Specialist speakers will outline how fourteen materials have been utilised over time, their geographical variations throughout the country, their properties and examples of their use. The conference will also mark the formal launch of a new publication of the same title, published by John Donald in association with Historic Scotland.
