Now in its third year The Eco Prize for Creativity was once again presented at The Lighthouse on 13 November 2007. The Prize is the initiative of the Eco Trust, which was established in 2005 to celebrate creative talent and creativity.
This year Sust., is the events principal funder, with contributory funding from, Loch Fyne Oysters Trust and the Russell Trust. It is run in association with leading environmental organisation, Friends of the Earth Scotland, and with The Lighthouse, Scotland's National Centre for Architecture, Design and The City.

The Eco Prize is awarded for a creative work in Scotland that inspires greener lifestyles and environmentally friendly living. All creative forms from across the cultural and creative industries are eligible - from music, photography, design and sculpture to animation, literature and film. Entries are invited from individuals from members of artistic groups and from employees of creative companies.
